J.K. Rowling has apologised again for killing someone you loved in ‘Harry Potter’

You have a lot to answer for, J.K.

May 2nd is the anniversary of the infamous Battle of Hogwarts, the teenagers vs. villains climax of the Harry Potter books.

Often on this auspicious day, writer and destroyer of your innocence J.K. Rowling tweets an apology for killing off your beloved characters.

In 2016 it was Lupin.

Once again, it’s the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts so, as promised, I shall apologise for a death. This year: Remus Lupin.

2017 was Snape, Snape, Severus Snape.

OK, here it is. Please don’t start flame wars over it, but this year I’d like to apologise for killing (whispers)… Snape. *runs for cover*
