“I think I’m gonna be in trouble, but I’m gonna do it.”
In a Wednesday night interview on The Tonight Show, Jessica Chastain shared a possible spoiler from her upcoming film It: Chapter Two with host Jimmy Kimmel. Describing her exhausting and terrifying experiences filming, Chastain beamed over the following genre factoid.
“In the movie, there’s a scene that someone said on-set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film, in a scene,” she teased.
Depending on what movie you consider to be the current bloodiest scene record holder (there’s a lot of debate surrounding which films qualify), It: Chapter Two would likely have to feature upwards of 100 gallons of fake blood to clinch the title.
