‘Making a Murderer Part 2’ takes on the whole legal system

The story of Steven Avery gripped millions worldwide after Making A Murderer premiered in 2015, but the story isn’t overMaking A Murderer Part 2 focuses on the reopening of Steven’s case and attorney Kathleen Zellner’s mission to overturn his sentence.

Making A Murderer told the story of Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey, who were convicted for the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach. Filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos return for Season 2 to examine the post-conviction process and see if there’s any chance of clearing Steven’s name once and for all. Read more…
