Matt Bomer and other celebrities bought out movie theaters so people could see ‘Love Simon’ for free

Matt Bomer is a huge Love, Simon fan, and he wants to make sure other people realize the importance of the film.

In a generous gesture, the actor bought out an entire movie theater in his hometown of Spring, Texas, so dozens of people would be able to see the movie for free.

“Please come see @lovesimonmovie in my hometown of Spring, TX for free!” Bomer wrote on Instagram. “…This is an important movie, and a really good one. I know you’ll love it so come watch for free this Sunday!”

Love, Simon tells the story of Simon Spier, a teenage boy who decides to come out to his friends and family after high school presents questions about true love and personal identities.
