Paul McCartney casually surprises tourists riding the elevator

Sir Paul McCartney dropped into The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night and as he does, surprised random people with his appearance.

In the clip above McCartney and Fallon buddy up to do random things like read the newspaper, play ping-pong, or do other weird tricks in front of tourists as they ride the elevator up 30 Rock.

It could be just McCartney’s security requirements, but people couldn’t actually get up and meet him (even though one woman tries to). But hey, maybe being that close to a musical icon is enough for most of us.

“I thought when I was little I was going to marry Paul McCartney, so that’s the closest I’ve ever got and I am thrilled,” one fan said. Yeah, we’ll take it. Read more…
