The first ‘Game of Thrones’ spinoff starts filming soon

The Game of Thrones prequels are coming, and number one starts filming in October, reports Deadline. The series is based on a story by George R. R. Martin and series creator Jane Goldman.

The Long Night – a working title – covers a Westerosi era known as the Age of Heroes, which includes the Long Night and the introduction of White Walkers. 

“From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend…it’s not the story we think we know,” HBO stated in June. Read more…
