Britain faces major change in new trailer for ‘The Crown’

The Crown is coming back and it’s more diabolically British than ever.

“The monarchy is too fragile,” Elizabeth tells Philip in a new trailer for Season 2. Philip is still struggling with Elizabeth being in a position of power and with the fact that he now has an 8-year-old son who’s closer to the throne.

Season 2 finds Elizabeth dealing with the repercussions of an illegal war in Egypt and a scandal involving Prime Minister Harold Macmillan.

We also get a few glimpses in the new trailer of Princess Margaret in a tryst with someone played by Matthew Goode, who also famously pursued Mary in the last couple seasons of Downton Abbey. What a stud! Read more…
