How well do you remember the Twilight movies?

It’s around 10 years since the first one came out, so chances are (unless you happen to own the DVD) your memory might be a little blurry.

Anna Kendrick’s is, anyway. And she was in the actual franchise.

Major spoilers for both the novel and film versions of A Simple Favor lie ahead.

This past weekend, A Simple Favor hit theaters as a total mystery. Even to fans of the book.

Director Paul Feig and screenwriter Jessica Sharzer took major liberties with Darcey Bell’s novel of the same name—replacing much of the original story’s tense psychological dissection with campy, high-powered dark comedy. The movie capitalized on starring actors’ (Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, and Henry Golding) seemingly innate ability to make a missing person story glittery and light.

The tongue-in-cheek take on the mommy blogger turned super sleuth tale was undoubtedly more fun than the nail biter novel, but for the full A Simple Favor experience you have to read the book.  Read more…

During the era of Donald Trump, sure, saying something like that could go very badly. But back in 2012, when politics was less of a bloodsport and President Barack Obama still lived in the White House, Anna Kendrick didn’t just get away with it — she got the president laughing hysterically.

“I called him an asshole and scolded him for not knowing enough about the 50 states,” Kendrick told Stephen Colbert during a Friday appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.  Read more…

Anna Kendrick didn’t just welcome twins with Enrique Iglesias. But a news story using the wrong image has the Pitch Perfect star taking to Twitter with a hilarious thread about the mistake.

Yahoo News ran a story about the “Hero” singer reportedly sharing photos of his new babies with tennis star Anna Kournikova — but it used the wrong Anna K’s picture.

Kendrick called the error out on Twitter, with a wry post:
