The internet thinks Eminem’s lyrics sound like the ‘Fairly OddParents’ theme song

TwitterFacebook

Eminem surprised the world last week by dropping a new album, and so far, it seems to have gone over well with his fans. But despite the love from his dedicated stans, not everyone’s feeling the album, and they’ve made it known in the best way possible.

In a stroke of genius, a hilarious meme cropped up that completely roasts Eminem by comparing the lyrics on his new album to lyrics from the theme song from Nickelodeon’s The Fairly OddParents.

when Eminem said

“really mod, pea pod,
buff bod, hot rod
obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice,
giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake”

i felt that. GREATEST rapper of ALL TIME😤😤😤😤😤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Eminem just dropped a surprise album called ‘Kamikaze’ and people are into it

TwitterFacebook

Eminem fans woke up to a big surprise this morning.

The Detroit rapper released his new album Kamikaze without warning late on Thursday. Eminem  announced it on Twitter in classic Em fashion, middle finger raised ‘n’ all.

“Tried not 2 overthink this,” Marshall Mathers wrote on Twitter while linking to the freshly produced album.

Eminem’s ASL interpreter stole the show at Firefly

TwitterFacebook

If you’ve been to a big concert recently, you may have witnessed the mesmerizing skills of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters.

Their skills are as enthralling as the performers on stage, and the latest viral video of one interpreter at an Eminem concert in particular is proof.

The original video, uploaded to Facebook by Kate Starr Fillingame, shows famed interpreter Holly Maniatty to the side of the stage, signing along to “Rap God” with Eminem as he performs at the Firefly Music Festival

Maniatty has become a star in her own right after numerous appearances alongside rappers like Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Wu Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, and more over the years — in addition to previous Eminem concerts.  She’s also the same interpreter that garnered internet attention after a video with Waka Flocka showed the rapper confusing her signing for dancing.  Read more…

Eminem just celebrated a major milestone in his life

TwitterFacebook

Eminem is used to accolades and awards, but the one he received this weekend might take cake.

On Saturday, the Detroit native shared a photo of a medallion that marks his 10th year of sobriety.

Drug addiction and rehab are topics Eminem has never been shy about discussing in his music and interviews. He’s been open about abusing prescription pills and the lengthy process of recovery — which he’s done with the help of a running habit, a rehab counselor, and weekly check-ins with Elton John. The Eminem AR show

With the debut of his Eminem Augmented app at Coachella last night, hip hop’s not-so-merry prankster took the (somewhat revolutionary) step of embracing the machine that so many musicians have raged against — by building an experience that actually enhances the way modern fans see live music. Rather than fighting the mobile phone phenomena, which has […]

Eminem takes a dig at the NRA during the iHeartRadio Music Awards

TwitterFacebook

Eminem is never one to turn down a moment to get political, and his Sunday night iHeartRadio Music Awards performance was no exception.

“This whole country is going nuts and the NRA is in our way / They’re responsible for this whole production / They hold the strings, they control the puppet,” he rapped at the top of his performance of “Nowhere Fast,” featuring Kehlani.

Parkland shooting survivor Alex Moscou, who was joined by Big Sean, introduced Eminem at the show. You can watch Moscou below, calling out politicians and promoting the March For Our Lives on March 24th.

Eminem on Trump: ‘He’s got people brainwashed’

TwitterFacebook

Donald Trump has a way of getting under people’s skin, especially celebrities, as we’ve seen since the 2016 election.

Eminem spoke to Vulture about his feelings on Trump, tied to the release of his highly political album Revival.

“He makes my blood boil,” Eminem said of Trump. “I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out. All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge.” Read more…

Eminem performs ‘Walk on Water’ live for the first time (sans Beyoncé, sadly)

TwitterFacebook

Eminem’s Revival is off to a great start.

Two days after the rapper dropped the first track from his new album, he showed up at the MTV EMAs to perform it in person.

And even though Beyoncé wasn’t around to lend her vocals this time, Eminem had no trouble commanding the stage with his intense, introspective performance. (Skylar Grey, who co-wrote Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie,” subbed in for Beyoncé’s parts.)

Eminem’s spent the past several weeks teasing the impending release of Revival – his first new album in four years – but as of now, we don’t know exactly when it’ll hit. If the rollout of “Walk on Water” is any indication, though, Eminem still knows exactly how to make a big splash.  Read more…

We made a Beyoncé-only version of Eminem’s ‘Walk On Water’ so you don’t have to

TwitterFacebook

I feel a little bad for Eminem. On the day of his epic return, the Detroit rapper pulled out all the stops and dropped his first single in a hot minute—”Walk On Water” with Beyoncé joining him on the track.

It quickly became a trending topic (truly anything she does will stop the internet), but Eminem had to know what he was getting into when he enlisted the Queen for his single. Within minutes, it was clear that she’s the one people really wanted. And since Eminem was standing in the way of that, I decided to help us all out after an exhausting week of news.
