How come nobody’s talking about the poop scene that got cut from ‘Call Me By Your Name’?!

The 2018 Oscars are over and Call Me By Your Name walked away from the ceremony winning one of the Academy’s coveted Oscar statuettes for Best Adapted Screenplay.

It’s an award well earned — a lot HAS been expertly adapted from André Aciman’s beautiful book to make up the moving film that is Call Me By Your Name. The forbidden romance of Elio and Oliver (superbly acted by Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer) is of course there, as is the hazy ambiance of an Italian summer, Oliver’s arrogant-yet-charming “later,” and of course, the peach scene (which infamously cut short the explicit plotting as outlined in the book). The most memorable memes for Best Picture Oscar nominees

TwitterFacebook

The competition is particularly stiff this year for which film, out of the nine nominees, will take home the Oscar for Best Picture at the 2018 Academy Awards. But the internet has some #thoughts.

For this year’s Don’t Call Me Oscar challenge, the Storino girls channeled Lady Bird‘s Saoirse Ronan, Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya, and even hopped in a pool to recreate Guillermo del Toro’s award-winning The Shape of Water. Read more…

Frank Ocean interviewed Timothée Chalamet and we don’t know who to be more jealous of

VMan magazine just changed Timothée Chalamet’s life.

Well, a couple of critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated movies (Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird) that were released last year changed his life. But for anyone that’s been following young Timmy T’s press circuit promoting these two movies, you know that this actor is a fan of Frank Ocean.

“I’m the biggest fan of his in the world,” Chalamet said at a red carpet event while promoting Call Me By Your Name. “He’s shown all of us what it is to have — beyond artistic integrity — fresh artistry at a time just because of the digital landscape, it can be hard to maintain that mystery and freshness. And he’s done it. And the music…it’s so incredible.  Read more…
