You know what? Life is weird. Things happen. And if you’re a parent, one of those things might be your kid accidentally walking in on you having sex.

This even happens to famous people! For example, it happened to Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, which Bell graciously explained on Friday’s The Talk. 

Seems like they handled it well, though — in fact, they passed it off as a nap and bought themselves more time.

Send your finest holiday cards to this 9-year-old Christmas fan

Nine-year-old Jacob Thompson, who has stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, will be celebrating his last Christmas this year. But he’s still feeling the holiday spirit — and he’d love to get some homemade cards.

Per a GoFundMe page created by Jacob’s parents, Jacob was admitted to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland, Maine early last month. Next weekend, he’ll have an early Christmas party complete with a tree, “snow,” and an appearance from Santa Claus.

According to Good Housekeeping, Jacob’s one special request is for anyone who feels inspired to send him a homemade holiday card. The cheerier the better. Read more…

My day of reckoning arrived during Mr. Morris’s class in middle school. I strategically sat in the last desk in the last row of every one of my classes, my eyes cast down, listening as the clock ticked one notch closer to the time the bell would ring and dispel my anxiety.

Mr. Morris asked me to read aloud, and I stood at my desk shaking as I gripped the book in my sweaty hands and painfully stumbled through the paragraph, tripping over the words.
