Did Mike Pompeo really bring Kim Jong-un a CD of Elton John’s ‘Rocket Man’?

Even for an administration as bombastic as the Trump White House, this one feels a little too on the nose.
But South Korean newspaper The Chosun Ilbo claims that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took two gifts with him on his latest diplomat…

Bad Lip Reading of Trump-Kim summit is more believable than what really happened

TwitterFacebook

Bad Lip Readings are back and they’re better than ever.

The Trump-Kim summit in Singapore had a plethora of cringey moments, from the bizarre movie trailer released by the White House to when Trump suggested that North Korea build condos instead of exploding cannons in the ocean. But there were parts of the summit that the general public didn’t get a glimpse of — so Bad Lip Reading imagined what we couldn’t hear during Trump’s bonding session with the North Korean dictator.

Gems include Kim calling Trump “buddy” and “homie,” while Trump responds, “That’s pretty weird.”

In the spoof, Trump also admits to reading Kim’s diary, putting him on the spot for “wanting to grow up and get in a rocket ship.” Trump also experiences some gastrointestinal distress, burping out “hey, look at the tiny little zucchini.”  Read more…

‘The Notebook’ starring Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un is here to nuke your retinas

TwitterFacebook

“If you’re a dictator, I’m a dictator.”

Those are the romantic words we assume Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un would exchange if they ever starred in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel, The Notebook.

If you’re struggling to imagine the two world leaders replacing the film’s real stars, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, a terrifying image created and shared on Instagram by Japanese graphic designer Shusaku Takaoka will help (and also destroy your eyes).

Behold: The Notebook (2018) — or “The Nukebook,” as Reddit user alleym4 renamed the altered photo. Read more…

Donald Trump tells Fox he wants his ‘people’ to ‘sit up at attention’ the way Kim Jong-un’s do

TwitterFacebook

Happy Friday, everyone!

Donald Trump just dropped in on his pals at Fox & Friends to say he hopes that one day the American people will treat him like North Koreans treat Kim Jong-un. Cool, cool, cool. Not a single thing to worry about here.

Upon waking up, it seems Trump looked out the window, saw a Fox & Friends broadcast taking place on the White House lawn, and announced he was going to unexpectedly crash it via Twitter.

Wow, the highest rated (by far) morning show, @foxandfriends, is on the Front Lawn of the White House. Maybe I’ll have to take an unannounced trip down to see them?

Famous Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un impersonators strike again

TwitterFacebook

Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump were seen having a grand old time in Singapore — wait, no… their meeting isn’t until June 12

Sorry. Those famous Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump impersonators, Howard X and Dennis Alan, were the ones seen bro-ing it up in Singapore on Saturday, ahead of a meeting between the real world leaders.

Makes sense, as does every other part of 2018. 🙃

The two musicians/world leader impersonators — known for crashing the 2018 Winter Olympics and filming videos outside the U.S. consulate in Hong Kong — were photographed seeing the sights together after the fake Kim Jong-un was reportedly detained at the Changi airport by authorities for several hours on Friday, per Bloomberg.  Read more…

A fake Kim Jong-Un said hi to North Korean cheerleaders, who didn’t take it well

TwitterFacebook

Guess someone was going to do it.

A Kim Jong-un impersonator went to greet North Korean cheerleaders at the Winter Olympics, and you can bet it caused quite the stir.

Only identified as Howard, the Australian man of Chinese descent attended the women’s ice hockey match between a unified Korean team and Japan on Wednesday.

During the match, he walked over to the group of North Koreans waving a unified Korea flag — only to be pushed aside by a group of apparent DPRK minders.

Suffice it to say, the some of the North Korean cheerleaders weren’t so impressed. Read more…
