‘Pokémon Go’ reveals trainer battles coming later this month

Get ready to kick some Poké-ass.

After months of waiting, Pokémon Go players have finally gotten a glimpse at the light at the end of the tunnel — trainer battles are coming to Pokémon Go this December.

Trainer battles are player vs. player encounters where you and an opponent take your teams of Pokémon and duke it out to see who’s got the better collection. You’ll be able to battle against friends and nearby strangers using scannable battle codes, or battle against ultra friends and best friends from anywhere. Read more…
