Sean Bean’s unmatched talent for dying on screen has traumatized fans everywhere. 

Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones — the list of gut-wrenching deaths is long enough to outlast most Sean Bean characters. He knows he’s caused us a lot of pain in the past. But hopefully his new role in the upcoming Hitman 2 can provide some bloody catharsis for all our grief.

Because instead of mourning him, players will now be tasked with figuring out how to kill his character, Mark Fab, as the world-class assassin Agent 47. Faba, a former M15 agent nicknamed “The Undying” (lol), will be the first Elusive Target mission released for the game a week after it launches on Nov 13. Read more…

How the Starks got their accent on ‘Game of Thrones’

Ned Stark may have only survived one season on Game of Thrones but he left a lasting impression on his family — and not just a sense of honor and leadership skills.

In an interview on Build Series, Sean Bean revealed that his character Ned Stark did more than just help set off the series of harrowing events that unfold on episode after episode of Game of Thrones; he actually gave the North its signature accent.

When the crew was working on the pilot episode of Game of Thrones, characters’ accents weren’t really established yet. Bean revealed that once the team behind the scenes heard him reading his lines, they decided to model the voices of the North after Bean’s own accent. Read more…
