Cases for the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR are already rolling out and we are pumped

TwitterFacebook

Apparently Apple made a big announcement yesterday or something — I guess they debuted the new iPhones or whatever. You know, something small that we are totally not freaking out over.

If you haven’t yet seen it plastered all over the internet, three new iPhones were debuted at the Apple Event on Sept. 12: The iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone X Plus. New features include edge-to-edge super retina displays, A12 chips, depth-of-field adjustments for better selfies, and iOS 12. Oh yeah, and they’re just plain gorgeous.

Preordering starts on Sept. 14, because Apple knew we’d all be throwing hands if we had to wait any longer. You’d be smart to get on that preordering as early as possible, but you know what would make you even smarter? Having a case ready for it.

Yup, phone case manufacturers are already rolling out their brand new lines for the unreleased iPhones. So unless you want to risk cracking your new baby on the first day, you should probably get on this. And since most of the new iPhones are going to set you back at least a cool grand, you’ll want to make sure that puppy is protected. (The iPhone XR is the “budget-friendly” model — it starts at $749.) Read more…

The makeup world is officially taking over. This $60 billion industry continues to grow and according to Statista, “consumers have been spending higher levels of disposable income on cosmetics than they had in the past.” In fact, during economic hard times, buyer interest in cosmetics stays steady — something economists have cheekily dubbed the “lipstick effect.” Read more…

8 of the best subscription boxes for beauty addicts

TwitterFacebook

What’s the only thing better than going on shopping spree to Sephora and buying things you definitely don’t need? Having a shopping spree delivered right to your house and spending way less than you would in the store for the same amount of stuff.

That’s right, ya’ll, we’re talking about beauty subscription boxes. These are a clutch way to discover new brands and decide if you like a product before buying it at full price, especially when you’re too lazy to return stuff to the store (raises hand). The best part is that these boxes are always valued significantly more than what you’re paying — so you could end up paying $25 for a box that contains $150 worth of stuff. One tiny item at the store is usually $25. Who’s gonna say no to finessing the system like that? Read more…
