William H. Macy on men in Hollywood: ‘I think a lot of us feel like we’re under attack’

William H. Macy has opened up about the difficulties he feels men are facing in the wake of Hollywood’s Time’s Up movement.

Speaking backstage at Sunday night’s SAG Awards, Variety and multiple other outlets report that the Shameless star spoke about a meeting he had other with other men in Hollywood to discuss the campaign.

“It’s hard to be a man these days,” said Macy. “I think a lot of us feel like we’re under attack and that we need to apologize, and perhaps we do.

“A bunch of guys got together under the auspices of Time’s Up,” Macy explained. “That’s good for men. Men don’t talk enough. And we talked.” Read more…
