TwitterFacebook

If you want to make it in the entertainment industry, you gotta give the people what they want. And the people want naked zombies. [Editor’s Note: Do they?]

The Walking Dead will feature its first fully nude zombie at some point before the end of Season 8, executive producer and director Greg Nicotera told Entertainment Weekly Wednesday. So if you’re into that sort of thing, this may be a good jumping-on point for you.

“There’s an episode where we did our first fully nude walker,” Nicotera told EW, referencing the rest of Season 8. “We’ve never done that before.” Read more…

MoviePass pulls out of AMC’s top theaters as negotiations fail

MoviePass, the monthly subscription service for seeing movies in theaters, has pulled out of 10 high-traffic AMC theaters, as a negotiating tactic with the theater chain. AMC, so far, has shown no interest in working with MoviePass or sharing revenue with the service for the foot traffic it brings to theaters. For instance, in a call with analysts in last year, AMC’s chief executive… Read More

Now we know who’s crossing over from ‘The Walking Dead’ to ‘Fear’

TwitterFacebook

AMC has revealed which character will be crossing over between The Walking Dead and its prequel series Fear the Walking Dead, and it makes a lot of sense.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick announced that Lennie James, aka Morgan Jones, will be moving from The Walking Dead over to Fear, which is currently filming its fourth season in Austin, Texas.

James was on hand via satellite from Austin, where he’ll begin shooting Fear this week — revealing that he wrapped his role on TWD in Atlanta a week ago.

James revealed that ever since it was suggested that Morgan might be the character to bridge the two shows, “the hardest part of it from beginning until now has been leaving The Walking Dead, leaving that cast, leaving that crew.” Read more…

‘The Walking Dead’ episode 3 reveals that there may be a monster on Rick’s team

TwitterFacebook

This recap contains spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 8, episode 3, “Monsters.” To refresh your memory of where we left off, check out our episode 2 recap.

Last week’s Walking Dead reintroduced Morales, a survivor we hadn’t seen since the early days of Season 1, who has now, much to Rick’s horror, joined forces with Negan after losing his family (and his will to live).

Episode 3 featured several morality plays, especially in regards to how Rick deals with the Saviors — last week, he inadvertently killed the father of a baby girl, and this week, Morales challenged him to recognize how similar they were — both men defined by their circumstances, but no better or worse than each other, just because one of them happened to be holding a gun. Rick was trying to get through to Morales when Daryl snuck up and shot him from behind, something that seemed to shake our fearless leader — and later we saw Daryl go back on Rick’s word and kill another Savior after Rick had promised him mercy.  Read more…
