Jimmy Fallon invited The Tonight Show regular and Animal Planet host Robert Irwin back on the show, with his usual assortment of cute baby animals.

The 15-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin, Robert has the same level of infectious enthusiasm as his dad for all creatures great and small — including peppered cockroaches.

But that’s not all he brought to the show on Wednesday. Irwin introduced Fallon to three mischievous African serval kittens, a tiny Australian marsupial called a sugar glider, and an affectionate camel called Wednesday. Read more…

Baby tree kangaroo takes first steps, decides pouch is better than world

If you can get through this video of a baby tree kangaroo taking its first steps without losing your shit, you’re stone cold.

Sydney’s Taronga Zoo has released an outlandishly adorable video of its new marsupial resident, a little Goodfellows tree kangaroo joey who took his first steps on Wednesday.

Yet to be named, the wee creature was born in September last year to mama Kwikila, but this is the first time the keepers have seen him roam.

Step aside April the giraffe, there’s a new giraffe in town and this giraffe is the best one.

The Kansas City Zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe born on Feb. 2. She doesn’t have a name yet, but everything about her is perfect. Look at her expression. Look at her hair. Look at the way she sticks his tongue out for the camera. 

If that wasn’t cute enough, her mother is watching over her in the background.
