Chadwick Boseman will host ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and he’ll be joined by Cardi B

Wakanda’s very own Black Panther is headed to Studio 8H. 

On April 7, Chadwick Boseman will take on the hosting duties for Saturday Night Live with none other than the “Bodak Yellow” queen Cardi B as a musical guest. The announcement was made during an episode guest hosted by Bill Hader this weekend. 

While Boseman and Cardi haven’t appeared on the show before, both have been parodied by cast member Chris Redd and former guest host Tiffany Haddish, respectively.

This time it’s for a controversial comment he left on Cardi B’s Instagram. 

The rapper posted this photo of her at the Grammys on Wednesday with the caption “They trinna crucify me like they did Christ .”

What do you give the man who swept the 2018 Grammy Awards? 

Your kidney, of course.

Bruno Mars cleaned house at this year’s ceremony, taking home both Album of the Year and Record of the Year. While he was there, he also performed his hit remix of “Finesse” with first-time nominee Cardi B. Following his big night, Cardi jumped on Instagram to congratulate her friend and offer up an organ as a thank you to him.  

“I want to thank you soo much! I don’t even know how,” she wrote on Instagram. “Maybe one day you’ll need a kidney…I got you,” she added.  Read more…

Another Victoria’s Secret show, another controversy.

Some Victoria’s Secret models have been slammed for allegedly uttering the n-word while singing along to Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”

In a video posted by a Twitter account called Pop Crave on Tuesday, the clip shows models singing backstage at the fashion show, which took place in Shanghai this year.

Most of the models in the video appear to be white, and sing along to the lyric in Cardi B’s song, which goes: “I don’t wanna choose / And I’m quick, cut a ni**a hustle / Don’t get comfortable.” Read more…

Family turns Cardi B’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ into a gospel song

Nothing brings family together more than Cardi B.

Twitter user Kevin Bush (@selfcritics) shared a video of his family remixing “Bodak Yellow” into a gospel chorale and it will absolutely give you life. 

The family’s soulful harmonization of the song’s lyrics, “I don’t dance now, I make money moves,” along with hand claps, foot stomping, and the piano playing in the background will leave you inspired and itching to join in.
