First ‘Aladdin’ photos reveal Will Smith’s genie look and Twitter is not having it

Disney’s live-action Aladdin is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019, and now we have our first look at Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of the animated classic. 

In exclusive first photos, Entertainment Weekly reveals Aladdin (Mena Massoud) and Jasmine (Naomi Scott) on the streets of Agrabah, and Will Smith as a, uh…very different genie than what we’re used to.

Disneyland’s new Marvel attractions look pretty legit in new concept art

As if we didn’t have enough to look forward to with the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge park expansion, Disney has released new concept art for its expanded Marvel-themed areas at select Disneyland parks.

Disney Parks first announced the attractions for Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Resort in California, and Hong Kong Disneyland in March 2018, and now we’ve got our first look at ’em.

Described by Disney as a global “Avengers Initiative,” the interconnected attractions and areas at parks around the world are themed around Marvel’s beloved heroes. Read more…

‘Daredevil’ is the latest Marvel series canceled by Netflix

Daredevil has seen its last season on Netflix.

The streaming service is canceling the Marvel series, just over a month after the third season was released.

“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the streaming service said in a statement to Deadline.

“We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note.

“We’re thankful to our partners at Marvel, showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years.” Read more…
