2 total strangers recreated a famous WWII photo at the Eagles parade

Twitter is a place where people like to argue and shout at each other a lot — but it’s also a place where two total strangers can arrange to recreate famous historical photographs.

Earlier this week, writer Shamus Clancy tweeted a famous black-and-white photograph from the end of WWII.

That picture (which it’s worth noting has a controversial backstory) was taken by Alfred Eisentaedton VJ Day in 1945.
