Kim Kardashian’s fiery tweets about the non-profit Donda’s House, explained

If you’ve been online in the past 48 hours, you might have been privy to a hot, heaping pile of messy tweets courtesy of Kim Kardashian. 

Kim has been in the throes of a heated Twitter spar with frequent Kanye West collaborator Rhymefest, and it’s all regarding a non-profit organization in Chicago, created in the name of Kanye’s late mother. Buckle up, and let us break it down for you.

What is Donda’s House?  

Fellow Chicago-native Rhymefest — who has had a hand in writing Kanye hits like “Jesus Walks” — helped found Donda’s House, an arts-based, youth-focused non-profit organization in the city. On Saturday, Rhymefest tweeted a message out to Drake (who recently invoiced Kanye and his record label, but that’s another story) asking for financial support to “rebuild Kanye’s mother’s house for the youth of Chicago.”  Read more…

Kim Kardashian fans slam her for promoting ‘appetite suppressant’ lollipops on Instagram

Kim Kardashian’s most recent Instagram might have seemed totally innocuous at first glance. But, look a little closer and you’ll see it’s an #ad post promoting “Appetite Suppressant Lollipops.” And, her fans are calling the move “completely irresponsible.”

“You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal,” wrote Kardashian. “They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit.” Read more…

“What do you do when no one is looking,” Ellen DeGeneres once asked Kanye West. 

His answer? “Smile.” 

The rapper and his smile aren’t the closest of friends whenever a camera is around. If you do a quick Google search, you’ll find there are far more photos out there of him making a stoic face than smiling — so much so that DeGeneres decided to make a game of it all.

Kim Kardashian has finally shared a full Kardashian-West family portrait

The Kardashian-West family might be as close as we’ll get to a royal family in the United States but that doesn’t mean everything comes easily to them. 

Exhibit A: the family portrait. Kim Kardashian posted one of the first pics of the entire family—newborn Chicago included—from over the Easter weekend. At first glance, all looks well. Everyone looks healthy and full of Easter candy. But thanks to a little context from Kim, it appeared to be a struggle. 

“I don’t think you really understand how hard it is to take a good family pic. This was all we got before all three kids started crying. I think I cried too,” she tweeted.   Read more…

Jay-Z gave the world fair warning that “nobody wins when the family feuds,” but his lyrics weren’t enough to stop members of the Kardashian/West/Jenner clan from battling it out on a popular game show.

Kim Kardashian West hyped the social media world up on Saturday, revealing on Snapchat that she and hubby Kanye West were backstage at Celebrity Family Feud. They were there to compete against Kim’s sisters Khloe and Kendall; mom, Kris Jenner; grandma, Mary Jo Campbell; and even cousin Cici Bussey.

Season 7 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians gave us the iconic scene in which Kanye West physically goes through Kim Kardashian’s closet to clear out some old stuff to make way for the new.

Unfortunately, we’ll probably never get anything like that again from the private couple, but in the latest episode of KUWTK, Kim gave us some insight into their relationship and revealed that some of her fashion choices are still directly dictated by the rapper himself—by email. 

“Kanye picked it out,” she said. “He sent me a whole email and said ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore, it’s all about tiny little glasses,'” Kim explained to her friend in the opening scene of Sunday’s episode “My Mother’s Keeper.”  Read more…

That Kanye West song “Famous,” as you’ll remember, re-ignited the drama between West and Swift in 2016, and Kim Kardashian found herself in the middle of it all when she leaked footage of Taylor Swift approving the line about her line last year. Fans in the Kardashian-West camp bombarded Swift with snake emojis on social media for months, which she brilliantly turned around and used as marketing for her album, reputation.
