Pink stopped her concert to comfort a grieving fan and it was heartwarming

Pink has always been really good at coming through for her fans.

And she just did it again during her Beautiful Trauma World Tour at her show in Brisbane, Australia, where she stopped her show to comfort a young member of the audience.

The 14-year old fan, Leah Murphy, held up a sign for Pink to see, telling the singer that her mum had passed away and that she really could use a hug from her idol.

According to the Brisbane newspaper The Courier-Mail, the fan’s sign read “My name is Leah — I’m 14 years old. I lost my beautiful mum last month. I would LOVE a hug… Please!” Read more…

This week was no different, and she expertly talked back against some ageism that made its way into her timeline.

A Twitter troll slipped into her mentions and commented on how Pink, like many other human beings on this planet, is aging as the years go by — and the singer had the time to issue a thoughtful and necessary clap back.

Give Pink some love: she’s trying to sing at the Super Bowl with the flu

This year’s flu season keeps getting worse. Its latest target is none other than Pink, who’s supposed to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

In a distressed Instagram post, the singer wrote that “one of the biggest honors of my life” is now “slowly becoming a sort of nightmare.” Presumably a snot-filled, exhausting nightmare.

She asked fans to spread the love and hold the germs in an Instagram post featuring a photo of the singer, bleary-eyed and wrapped in a scarf, trying to practice before the big game.

“Trying to practice the flu away,” she wrote — and we’re not doctors, but we’re pretty sure that’s not how it works, unfortunately. Read more…

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Robbie Williams told the story of how Pink once got in touch with him by email. The thing was, she didn’t actually realise she was emailing Robbie Williams — she thought she was emailing a chef whose first name was also Robbie.
