Apple just introduced a new Pride watch band and matching watch face

The rumor mill was correct! Apple is launching a new Pride watch face today as part of LGBTQ Pride Month.

What we didn’t know was that a new Pride watch band is coming as well — and it matches the new face beautifully. 

Last June, Apple launched a Pride watch band with a full rainbow gradient design on a woven nylon band. That band was taken of the market last September. The new band has white background with a rainbow gradient on top, and it will match perfectly with the watch face, as the color strands continue on the screen. Read more…

June is LGBTQ Pride Month, and there are a number of ways to show your support for the community both this month and year-round.

From volunteering your time to donating to LGBTQ-friendly organizations, becoming a better ally and celebrating at a parade, there are all kinds of things you can do to get involved — and your efforts certainly don’t have to be limited to one month.

Despite setbacks that have occurred since Barack Obama left office, like Donald Trump deciding not to officially declare June Pride Month in 2017, banning transgender people from serving in the military, and rolling back the rule that let transgender students to use the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity, there have been noteworthy wins for the LGBTQ community in 2018. ‘Make America Gay Again’ banner welcomes Mike Pence outside his vacation home

As Vice President Mike Pence and his wife were undoubtedly enjoying their vacation at a house in Aspen, Colorado this week, their neighbors shared a very important message with them written on a rainbow-colored banner: Make America Gay Again.

The Pence family’s neighbors hung the above banner on a pillar at the end of the two houses’ shared driveway, The Aspen Times reported Friday. The words are a riff on President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” but serve as a clear message to Pence who has openly held anti-LGBTQ beliefs during his time in the public office.
