It’s fair to say that Deadpool 2 didn’t exactly go the way trailers suggested it would.

We met X-Force, and then promptly said goodbye to X-Force. But then, before the credits rolled, it became clear that X-Force is a big piece of the immediate Deadpool roadmap.

It’s confusing! But the reality is that Deadpool 2 did a lot of setup work for the future of the character — and possibly the Marvel mutantverse — at the movies. Let’s review. Read more…
