Dems and GOP unite, slamming Facebook for allowing violent Pages

In a rare moment of agreement, members of the House Judiciary Committee from both major political parties agreed that Facebook needed to take down Pages that bullied shooting survivors or called for more violence. The hearing regarding social media filtering practices saw policy staffers from Facebook, Google and Twitter answering questions, though Facebook absorbed the […]

YouTube is reportedly introducing your kids to conspiracy theories, too

In a recent appearance by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki at the South by Southwest Festival, she suggested that YouTube is countering the conspiracy-related videos that have been spreading like wildfire on the platform — including videos telling viewers that high school senior and Parkland, Fl. survivor David Hogg is an actor. Specifically, Wojcicki outlined YouTube’s plans […]

Former Blink 182 guitarist releases declassified UFO video, and it’s a weird one

TwitterFacebook

Former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge really wants to know the truth about aliens.

To that end, To the Stars Academy of the Arts and Sciences — the organization DeLonge leads — released a declassified military video on Friday of what they’re claiming is a UFO.

The video, captured on a U.S. Navy F/A 18 Super Hornet fighter jet, includes the two pilots laughing as they wonder, “what the fuck is that thing?”

The best part about Chrissy Teigen’s peculiar LAX flight is this insane conspiracy theory

TwitterFacebook

When Chrissy Teigen and John Legend (and a bunch of other people) boarded a plane to Tokyo from LA, they probably didn’t think they would get a bizarre flight pattern—and one not-so-convincing fugative theory.

Their plane made an unexpected return to Los Angeles Airport on Thursday night and naturally, Teigen live-tweeted the events. But someone out there somehow managed to take those live-tweets and turn it into a piping hot conspiracy theory about Teigen and Legend fleeing the country. She shared screenshots of this user’s thoughts on the flight fiasco, and they’re uh, pretty unique.

Mariah Carey appears to be sitting on an invisible chair and clearly has special powers

TwitterFacebook

At Christmas time Mariah Carey, who is very festive, gains special powers, because she is the Christmas Queen.

Fans shared a video of Mariah signing autographs in the middle of her show earlier this week, which is honestly a very weird thing to do, and likely messes with the entire flow of the whole thing. Anyway, Mariah appears to be sitting on a small stool or chair during the impromptu signing, but right before the clip ends, she stands, and there is NOTHING behind her for support.
