Watch Funny Or Die’s uncomfortable #MeToo PSA starring Evan Rachel Wood

Funny Or Die has released a #MeToo-inspired PSA, that’s intensely uncomfortable.

Starring Westworld‘s Evan Rachel Wood, Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s Kelly Marie Tran, Tony nominee Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and a voice-over from Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany, the video attempts to engage with the #MeToo campaign against systemic sexual abuse in Hollywood.

Using a Guess Who game. Yeah. Featuring game “characters” Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Terry Richardson, Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, and numerous other men who have been accused of sexual assault, harassment, and misconduct.

It seems flippant but it’s a genuine PSA, directed by an all-female crew and calling for people to join Rise, a national civil rights nonprofit working to implement a Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights. Wood testifies with Rise on behalf of sexual assault survivors in Capitol Hill on Feb. 27 — hence the timing of the skit. Read more…
