Goats like it best when you smile, new research shows
You should be happy when you meet a hoofed friend. Especially if that friend is a goat.
Because, it turns out, goats can read human moods and are more drawn to people who look happy.
According to a new study recently published in the journal Open Science, goats prefer “positive human emotional facial expressions.” That’s smiling faces, to you and me.
Researchers set goats free to explore a closed-off test area with two black and white photos of a human face – one smiling and one angry – posted at goat eye level.
The researchers found that that the goats preferred to approach the photo of the smiling face. Read more…

Goats continue world domination by taking over New York City subway tracks
Not to be dramatic or anything, but goats continue to conspire against humanity — this time against the people of New York.
Following their massive takeover in Boise, Idaho, goats in New York City attempted to interfere with the already failing subway system on Monday morning when two goats somehow stumbled onto some above-ground train tracks in Brooklyn. The pair were spotted on the N line track, just chilling out and being goats.
A new one for us (we think): Two goats are roaming along the N line tracks in Brooklyn. They’re safe and not currently affecting service, but they are on the run. We’ll keep you posted.

The goatpocalypse is upon us.
At least, that’s how it probably feels in one Boise neighborhood where dozens of goats were found just kinda roaming and feeding on the well-manicured lawns.
The horror. The adorable horror.
KTVB’s Joe Parris captured the munching menaces early Friday morning, giving the world one last glimpse of Boise before nothing is left.

What’s with this random goat on a roof?
Well, here’s an animal on a roof story that’s vying to be the G.O.A.T.
Australian man Jeremy Peck and some colleagues were working on a home in Perth, when they happened to notice a goat perched on top of a neighbouring house.
“There was a goat on the roof of a multi million-dollar house in one of Australia’s most prestigious suburbs, Dalkeith,” Peck told Storyful.
“It’s not clear how the goat came to be on the roof and the owner of the house was as puzzled as we were. The goat stayed on the roof for a few hours before jumping down and making his escape up the road.” Read more…

Liberal goats are destroying America
When goats aren’t doing yoga and posing for Instagram, they’re trying to influence OUR elections.
On Tuesday, these elitist barnyard animals were spotted at a polling station at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Virginia is looking to replace Gov. Terry McAuliffe with either Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, or Ed Gillespie, the Republican candidate and former Enron lobbyist who’s run a very Trump-esque campaign.
Goats might seem non-partisan. But what’s the Democratic symbol? A donkey. Which is basically a dumb, less evil-looking goat. Read more…
