If there’s one thing Jon Stewart’s appearance on the The Late Show proves, it’s that you can’t beat a good reunion.

On Tuesday night, Stewart took Stephen Colbert’s place behind the desk and introduced his first guest — none other than Colbert himself — for a hard-hitting interview.

The interview above begins with a question from Stewart about which of Stephen Colbert’s children Colbert loves most, and ends with the two discussing, in detail, “the turd-mining business”.

Jon Stewart has just delivered a walloping serve to Donald Trump.

The former Daily Show host temporarily took over for Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Thursday night, geared up to deliver one hell of a monologue.

It’s been one heck of a back-and-forth between late night hosts and Trump, with the president going after Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel — oh, they responded.

So, on Thursday, it was Stewart’s turn. Aimed straight at the president, he began the piece by saying, “Hello, Donald. It’s me, the guy you made sure everyone knew was Jewish on Twitter,” referring to a particularly anti-Semitic interaction he had with Trump years ago. Read more…

Ever since TBS aired an episode of Full Frontal in which Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a “feckless cunt,” celebrities and politicians have weighed in on Bee’s commentsJon Stewart, who worked with Bee for years on The Daily Show, weighed in briefly on Sunday to explain that criticism of Bee is all part of a plan.

“Please understand that a lot of what the right does, and it’s maybe their greatest genius, is they’ve created a code of conduct that they police, that they themselves don’t have to, in any way, abide,” Stewart said

“It’s a game, it’s a strategy, and it’s working,” he added.
