This Tiger Woods doppelgänger totally upstaged the real Tiger at a golf tournament

TwitterFacebook

A tiger cannot change its stripes, but others can copy them and wear them as their own.

Professional golfer Tiger Woods apparently has a true doppelgänger walking this earth and the resemblance is… just wow.

The Woods doppelgänger showed up at the Dell Technologies Championship golf tournament in Boston, U.S., wearing the typical Tiger Woods uniform of a red polo shirt, cap and sunglasses.

And now professional golf is being ransomed for bitcoin

TwitterFacebook

Raise that single gloved-hand to your mouth in shock: The hackers have gone after golf.

America’s last bastion of proud visor-wearers is scrambling this week, after unknown criminals took over the PGA of America’s servers on Tuesday — locking the golf association out of its files just days before the official Aug. 9 start of the PGA Championship in Missouri. And you better believe those hackers want bitcoin

That’s right, the PGA was hit with ransomware

So reports Golfweek, which notes that the now-encrypted files include “extensive promotional banners and logos used in digital and print communications,” in addition to “development work on logos for future PGA Championships.” Read more…

Man films the moment Tiger Woods’ golf ball knocks him off his feet

TwitterFacebook

People often describe golf as a relaxing day out, and you’d think that would apply to the spectators too.

Apparently not in every case, though.

On Sunday, Colin Hauck went to watch Tiger Woods competing in the British Open up in Scotland.

Needless to say, he got more than he bargained for.

Ouch.

On the plus side, at least he got straight back up on his feet again.

This kangaroo just wants to touch a golf flag and who can blame him

TwitterFacebook

Flags are just so flappy and fun.

In Australia on Wednesday a kangaroo was spotted on Noosa Golf Course, apparently mesmerised by a flapping golf flag.

These guys combined Connect Four and golf in one pretty darn clever game

TwitterFacebook

OK, seems like you can combine the classic board game Connect Four with most ball sports.

It certainly goes pretty well with golf, as evidenced in a custom game put together by Australian YouTubers How Ridiculous.

While you might be good at putt-putt, it’s a little trickier trying to hit the ball up a hill — you might prefer the group’s other board game-related creation, Connect Four basketball. Read more…

A mysterious white truck coincidentally blocked the media’s view of Trump’s golf game

TwitterFacebook

While Donald Trump relaxes at the end of a year in which nothing interesting happened at all, he’s spent some (more) time golfing down at his Mar-A-Lago resort. But it seems he’s trying his best to get a little privacy from the prying eyes of the media.

Over the last few days, media outlets have managed to catch some janky footage shot through some trees of Trump taking a similarly janky swing and, really, everything about Trump and 2017 has been janky.
