Missing the Globes must have been rough for an A-lister like Lawrence, but she was happy to go to a few after parties with BFF Emma Stone. Only Stone called Lawrence and changed the plan, leaving her friend half-made up and waiting to hang.

There’s a third character in the friendship tale of Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone: John the Orchestra Guy.
Who is John? An orchestra guy, that’s who — an orchestra guy who used to constantly, “accidentally” text both Stone and Lawrence.
“He wasn’t really a stalker. He’s just this guy who has a lot of people’s phone numbers,” Stone said in an interview for W’s Best Performances feature. “He must have worked at a studio or something.”

Jennifer Lawrence and director Darren Aronofsky have had an “amicable split,” Entertainment Tonight reported on Wedndesday.
The two dated for around a year after working together on the film mother!, released earlier this year to mixed reactions. While two spoke highly of each other during the press run of the film and are reportedly remaining friends after their split, Lawrence recently discussed how exactly they transitioned from a work relationship to a personal one.
“I had a crush on him when he pitched [mother!] to me, and that was like a year before we started rehearsing, but he was a professional, which only made it worse for me,” she said on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. “We just formed a friendship and then the friendship turned into a partnership for the movie, once we started working. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter‘s Awards Chatter podcast, Jennifer Lawrence revisits her impressive career at the age of 27, and the iCloud hack in 2014 that put her nude photos onto the web.
“I feel like I got gang-banged by the fucking planet,” she said frankly in the episode. “Like, there’s not one person in the world that is not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me.”
