The scene Maisie Williams wasn’t even allowed to watch in ‘Game of Thrones’

Game of Thrones stars — they’re just like us! Especially when it comes to being mortified at having to watch those graphic sex scenes with their parents.

Maisie Williams gave an interview to The Australian recently and described just how weird it was to work around the nearly NC-17 levels of raciness when she first joined the show at 14-year-old.

Her family did their best to protect her underage eyes, especially with one particular scene in Season 1:

Williams went on to say that, “Most of the gory stuff I was part of, and it’s not scary when you’re there shooting it. No one’s really getting their face ripped off. So it’s quite exciting really.” Read more…

Sophie Turner looks bored sitting on a toilet in Brooklyn Beckham’s cover shoot

Sophie Turner is, of course, most recognisable to us when dressed up in her Sansa Stark garb.
Her latest magazine cover shoot look, shot by none other than Brooklyn Beckham, couldn’t be further from her usual Game of Thrones aesthetic, though.

Sophie Turner may have got a huge ‘Game of Thrones’ spoiler tattooed on her arm

We know all men must die and everything, but surely at least some of them have to make it through the full eight seasons of Game of Thrones?

Well, if Sophie Turner’s new tattoo is anything to go by, maybe — just maybe — some will make it through unscathed.

Earlier in the week, tattoo artist Lauren Winzer from Sydney, Australia, shared the following post on her Instagram page:

Maisie Williams will be Sophie Turner’s bridesmaid because Stark sisters stick together

The Stark sisters haven’t always had the best wedding experiences in Game of Thrones. But Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa Stark) is changing that by inviting her co-star Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Joe Jonas.

In a Radio Times interview for her upcoming film Early Man, Williams was asked if she was “bidding for a role as bridesmaid” in Turner’s wedding.

“Oh I’ve already got it!” she said, rolling her eyes at the idea that she’d have to even try. “It’s very, very exciting — but it’s kind of bizarre, though.”

We know what you’re all thinking, because we’re there too: We need every single detail. Will the wedding be Game of Thrones themed? What adorable sisterly gesture does Williams have planned? What’s the mortality rate look like for the guests? Is Sophie’s direwolf invited?! Read more…

The end of ‘Game of Thrones’ earned a standing ovation from the cast

We may not see the ultimate ending of Game of Thrones until 2019, but the actors have now read the script for the series finale, and they’re already beginning to torture us with cryptic clues.
The latest culprit is Sansa Stark herself, Sophie Turner,…

Sophie Turner slams Donald Trump in 1 no-holds-barred tweet

TwitterFacebook

It turns out Sophie Turner has more in common with her Game of Thrones character than you may have thought.

Namely, neither of them have a problem with going after powerful men.

Earlier in the week, Time announced its Person of the Year 2017: the “silence breakers” behind the #MeToo movement that has rocked Hollywood — and the wider world — in recent weeks.

At the time, Turner shared the announcement in a tweet and wrote that she was “very proud”.

YES. So very proud of these people. You will not be silenced. You are heard. And we believe you and stand with youhttps://t.co/eCa0jAe8Ph

Sophie Turner defends Taylor Swift’s ‘Time’ cover and is here to support all ‘The Silence Breakers’

TwitterFacebook

When Time unveiled its person of the year, “The Silence Breakers,” yesterday, it caused quite the stir. Much of that was because of one particular person on the front cover — Taylor Swift.

The superstar received some blowback from appearing on the magazine cover, even after she took the stand earlier this year to testify against a DJ who was later found guilty of groping her. Many felt as if she doesn’t deserve to be standing next to the group of other women Time highlighted, claiming Swift doesn’t openly speak about important issues unless she is directly affected.
