Twitter thread explores questionable ways men, uh, decorate their bathrooms

TwitterFacebook

Here’s your chance to go deep in the bowels of a man’s soul — his bathroom.

A Twitter thread posted Friday asked women what’s the weirdest thing they’ve seen in a dude’s bathroom. It starts off with a plunger-hairbrush hybrid contraption that must be used for plunging and then scrubbing the bowl. Whatever it is, it’s weird.

Your bathroom could soon be a ‘smart bathroom’ thanks to Kohler

TwitterFacebook

Smart homes are all the rage these days, but what about smart bathrooms?

Kohler is trying to make them the next big thing. The kitchen and bath product company has announced a number of smart bathroom products at CES 2018.

You can set up and control all of these products with Kohler’s app for iOS and Android, KOHLER Konnect. The app, powered by the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, supports voice commands and hands-free motion control. Gwendoline Christie’s story about getting a selfie request while on the toilet is so cringy

TwitterFacebook

Asking celebrities for a selfie can be a tricky thing. You have to pick the situation carefully. Some of them don’t like to be bothered in certain situations, and others — understandably — just don’t like to be bothered.

If you want an example of what absolutely not to do, though, just listen to Gwendoline Christie’s story about the selfie request she received while in the bathroom of a restaurant.

“Under the door slipped a hand with a phone,” she tells Graham Norton in the clip above. “And a female voice said: ‘Selfie’?” Read more…

“Man, I can’t wait to scrub the toilet when I get home,” said no one ever.

Let’s face it: cleaning the toilet is a necessary chore, but the list of things we’d rather do is infinitely long. We know it’s gross to not clean it, but is it really worth it to put your hands in there?

If you’ve ever wished that a robot would just do this chore for you, you’re in luck — an automatic toilet cleaning robot is now available on Kickstarter. We love the future.
