Some memes die out quickly, others continue on for lightyears.

The distracted boyfriend meme definitely appears to belong to the latter.

At San Diego Comic Con this weekend, the meme got a fresh lease of life thank to a genius Star Wars twist.

Mark Hamill wandered around Comic-Con in stormtrooper armor, obviously

TwitterFacebook

If you were at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend and you saw someone who looked like they might be a little short for a stormtrooper, it was probably Mark Hamill.

The Star Wars legend and full-time internet rascal decided to have some anonymous fun at the annual fan gathering in San Diego. So he dressed himself up in a variety of costumes — including Imperial stormtrooper, a classic — and did the thing.

It all started innocently enough on Thursday, the day the show kicked off, with a bit of misdirection.

There’s an unsubstantiated rumor I’m at #SDCC right now wearing a mask to avoid being recognized (I’m not)-But if I really WAS there in disguise, would I lie about it to fool people-secretly talk to fans-attend panels & have fun? (I would) #ComicConCon pic.twitter.com/8vxvFsQg48

Andrew Lincoln confirms he’s leaving ‘The Walking Dead’: ‘ I promise not to cry. I’ve done enough crying onscreen’

TwitterFacebook

It’s official: Season 9 will be Andrew Lincoln’s last season on The Walking Dead.

Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead, confirmed at Comic-Con Friday that he will be leaving the series after more than eight years as the show’s lead.

“This will be my last season playing the part of Rick Grimes,” Lincoln said at Friday’s Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con. “I love this show. It means everything to me. I love the people who made this show. I promise not to cry. I’ve done enough crying onscreen.”

Rumors began swirling about Lincoln’s departure back in May when Collider reported that Lincoln would only be around for six episodes of Season 9, which is set to premiere in October. The news of Lincoln’s departure comes not long after series mainstay Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) left the series during Season 8 in February.  Read more…

Aaron Paul dressed his baby in ‘Breaking Bad’ apparel for Comic-Con and eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

TwitterFacebook

There’s a new cook in town, and she’s cute as hell.

Breaking Bad start Aaron Paul — aka Jesse Pinkman, bitch — arrived at Comic-Con in San Diego with a special guest: his 5-month old daughter, Story, who was wearing a very familiar outfit.

Story cosplayed as her dad’s meth making character, complete with a tiny yellow hazmat suit and protective headwear. And yes, it was absolute perfection.

Paul shared a selfie of the two at the big event, where the cast reunited to speak on a panel together in honor of Breaking Bad‘s 10th Anniversary Reunion. Read more…
