Figure skater Mirai Nagasu just became the first U.S. woman to land a triple axel in the Winter Olympics.

Nagasu was competing in the free skating portion of the Figure Skating Team Event on day three of the Winter Olympics at Gangneung Ice Arena, Pyeongchang on Feb. 12. And she did this:

Who run the world? French Olympic figure skater Maé-Bérénice Méité, who on Sunday in Pyeongchang performed her short program to Beyoncé’s anthem “Run The World (Girls),” and a cover of “Halo.” 

Though Méité’s performance came in ninth place, it delighted viewers for its sense of fun.

Jimmy Ma just made figure skating the go-to sport of 2018.

At the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championship Thursday, Jimmy Ma performed a figure skating routine to “Turn Down For What” by DJ Snake and Lil Jon.
