Hillary Clinton read ‘Fire and Fury’ at the Grammys, this is not a drill

Was it a weird moment? Sure was. Does it matter? Nope. Hillary Clinton was there.

Clinton made a surprise appearance at the 2018 Grammys, capping off a star-studded comedy sketch featuring the likes of Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, Cher, and John Legend. The premise? Fire and Fury spoken word auditions.

It was perfect. The assembled stars read passages from the book in their various public personas, ostensibly auditioning for the job of reading the audiobook. Clinton came in at the end, hiding her face behind the book at first (though we all knew it was her, right?). Read more…

Waterstones, the ultimate troll.

You may have heard of a little book about the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump that came out recently called Fire and Fury. Well, here in the UK the bookshop chain Waterstones had a novel idea for moving copies.

Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury could be adapted into a TV series — as if it could somehow top the 24-7 news cycle reality show hellstorm we’re already living through. 

But it’s 2018, so here we areThe Hollywood Reporter says that Endeavor Content has purchased the rights to Wolff’s controversial tome for seven figures. 

There’s no network attached yet, but it could wind up anywhere, given the book veers from political drama to slapstick comedy to horror anthology.
