Prince Harry sings ‘You’ll Be Back’ with the cast of ‘Hamilton’ and yep this is real

Bet you never thought you’d hear Prince Harry’s singing voice.

Well, on Wednesday night, Harry got up on stage with the cast of Hamilton at Victoria Palace Theatre in London, and sang the first line of “You’ll Be Back” — a song that’s usually sung by King George III in the play.

Judging by his dulcet tones, Harry should consider a career in theatre.

“You say…”

Thank you to the cast and crew of @HamiltonWestEnd for a fantastic performance, raising awareness and funds for @Sentebale‘s work with children and young people affected by HIV #HamiltonLDN pic.twitter.com/M5hmjTfhEz

Lin-Manuel Miranda to reprise ‘Hamilton’ role…in Puerto Rico

TwitterFacebook

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will reprise his iconic role. In 2019, Miranda will return to the award-winning musical in the title role when it opens in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to Playbill

Miranda is loud and proud of his Puerto Rican heritage, and of the diverse, color-blind Hamilton cast as it reflects his American upbringing. His last performance as Alexander Hamilton was in July 2016.

“Bringing [Hamilton] to Puerto Rico is a dream that I’ve had since we first opened at The Public Theater in 2015,” Miranda said in a statement through Playbill. “When I last visited the island, a few weeks before Hurricane Maria, I had made a commitment to not only bring the show to Puerto Rico, but also return again to the title role. In the aftermath of Maria we decided to expedite the announcement of the project to send a bold message that Puerto Rico will recover and be back in business, stronger than ever.” Read more…

Watch out Broadway buffs, there’s a new theatre critic in town and he has a few problems with the ever-popular Hamilton

Three-year-old Sebastian spent the beginning of his birthday celebration on Saturday viewing the first act of Hamilton with his dad, playwright and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda.

When you’re the son of the play’s creator, waiting hours on Ticketmaster just isn’t a part of your theater-going experience. If only the rest of us could be so lucky.

In advance of his 3rd birthday, we took lil man to Act One of Hamilton on Saturday. His comments in this thread..pic.twitter.com/e3hBugEsnI
