Kanye West is back on Instagram, and what is happening?

Remember the days when Kanye West skipped concerts and spammed his Instagram accounts with screenshots from fashion lookbooks, or shared completely random Total Recall stills? 

If you don’t, it’s not your fault. The rapper deleted his Instagram back in May 2017. But have no fear—he’s finally made his return to timelines everywhere with a very stripped down (and very underwhelming) Valentine’s Day card.

Season 7 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians gave us the iconic scene in which Kanye West physically goes through Kim Kardashian’s closet to clear out some old stuff to make way for the new.

Unfortunately, we’ll probably never get anything like that again from the private couple, but in the latest episode of KUWTK, Kim gave us some insight into their relationship and revealed that some of her fashion choices are still directly dictated by the rapper himself—by email. 

“Kanye picked it out,” she said. “He sent me a whole email and said ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore, it’s all about tiny little glasses,'” Kim explained to her friend in the opening scene of Sunday’s episode “My Mother’s Keeper.”  Read more…

It is almost time for 2018, and that means it’s been 10 years since some very iconic music was released.

Beyonce, Kanye West, and Coldplay were all making career shaping records back in 2008. While newcomers like MGMT, Adele, and Lady Gaga were also carving out lanes for themselves. Here’s a look back at career defining work from your favorite artists.

1. Kanye West – 808 and Heartbreak

When Kanye won multiple Grammys for his sophomore album Late Registration, he gave a frantic speech. “Everybody wanted to know what I would do if didn’t win,” said Kanye while holding up his trophies and looking directly into the camera.  “Well I guess we’ll never know.” That speech was a perfect display of Kanye’s hubris and his sometimes critical self-awareness. Ugly sneakers (or Air Grandads as I like to call them) are kind of having a moment right now. 

First Steph Curry released his dad shoes last year. Then, Balenciaga is selling the Triple S trainer monstrosity’s for about $850. And earlier this summer Kanye West released a pair of chunky running shoes called, the Yeezy Wave Runner 700 priced at $300. 

That’s a lot of money for a sneaker that makes you look like a futuristic version of Larry David.

In November 2016, Kanye West cancelled a slew of tour dates after reports surfaced that he’d been hospitalized. 

On Saturday night, nearly a year after those headlines dominated the news, the Chicago native took the stage alongside longtime collaborator Kid Cudi for the first time since 2016—and people went absolutely wild. 

West and Cudi performed “Father Stretch My Hands  Pt. 1” to the surprised crowd that had come to see Cudi’s Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’ tour.
