Patrons at the popular New York City gay bar Pieces got a big surprise on Friday night when ho-hum music superstar Adele and one of her besties, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, dropped by for some drinks and some fun. 

Introducing herself onstage as a “stay-at-home mom,” Adele garnered loud cheers from the crowd during the bar’s “Frisky Fridays” drag show. Adele was later joined by Lawrence who was having just as much fun as her pal.

Adele posts touching message about her best friend’s experience of postpartum psychosis

Adele has shared a touching message about her best friend’s struggle with postpartum psychosis after giving birth six months ago.

“This is my best friend,” wrote Adele on Instagram. “We have been friends for more of our lives than we haven’t.”

Adele wrote that her friend, Laura Dockrill, gave birth to her “beautiful godson” six months ago, which was “the biggest challenge of her life.”  

“She has written the most intimate, witty, heartbreaking and articulate piece about her experience of becoming a new mum and being diagnosed with postpartum psychosis,” she wrote.  Read more…

Adele just sailed into her 30th year and threw a Titanic shindig to celebrate.

The Grammy-winning artist celebrated her three-decades on Earth with a birthday party themed around James Cameron’s 1997 Best Picture winner.

Posting three images on Instagram on Sunday, Adele looks every inch Kate Winslet’s character Rose DeWitt Bukater. According to her caption, “super fandom” describes her love for Cameron’s film — and the photos prove it.

The Dolly Parton/Adele friendship is real, folks.

On Tuesday, Adele got dressed up and paid tribute to the legendary country singer in a cheery Twitter post.

“The effortless Queen of song, Dolly Parton!” she wrote. “We love you! We wish we could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! The hero of my life. I’ll always love you.”

Well, on Wednesday, Parton responded.
