 It’s no secret that among the millions of comments filed with the FCC regarding its plan to roll back net neutrality are a great deal of fake ones, some even using stolen identities. Taking off is a delicate part of the experience of flying, so we can only imagine the shock among passengers of a London-bound Virgin Atlantic plane when they discovered their aircraft had a missing wingtip. 

An EgyptAir 777 reportedly clipped the wing of a Virgin Atlantic A330 at JFK airport, New York, as it was taxiing on the runway, moments before takeoff.
