Per a highly successful tweet highlighting her hard work, Megan Steffen of Chicago, Illinois, played generous matchmaker for her sister Emily, interviewing 39 potential suiters and building a comprehensive PowerPoint guide to her findings.

Duo who unmatched on Tinder magically reconnect on reddit

The internet certainly is a small place.

Haley, 22, from Houston, Texas posted on reddit about being unmatched by another person on the dating app Tinder, after answering a hypothetical question about a killer snail.

“You and a super intelligent snail both get 1 million dollars, and you both become immortal, however you die if the snail touches you. It always know where you are and slowly crawls toward you. What’s your plan?” the question from her former match Walker reads.

Despite giving a thorough reply, Haley found herself unmatched — meaning the message thread disappears. She saved the screenshots though, and well, it’s a good response.  Read more…

James Corden surprises staff member with gloriously awkward game of ‘Live Tinder’

Tinder is already horrendously awkward for everyone involved — but when you make the whole thing an IRL experience, it gets even worse.

During a segment for Wedensday’s Late Late Show, James Corden treated one unfortunate staff member to a game of “Live Tinder”. It’s pretty much how it sounds — a bunch of guys came out onstage, and the Late Late Show staffer had to decide whether to keep them in the game or swipe them left into a ball pit. She then got to pick one of the final three to go on a date with.

Luckily, despite the high cringe-factor, the whole thing had a happy ending: the date (which took place in a conference room down the hall) clearly went well enough for the lucky guy to be invited back to a Late Late Show holiday party as a plus one. Read more…
