Camila Cabello tweeted the best reply to her 2012 self after winning at the VMAs

TwitterFacebook

Ever wondered what you might say to your past self if you had the chance?

Well Camila Cabello knows. After winning big at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night — taking home both the Artist of the Year and the Video of the Year awards — she took to Twitter to post a message to her 2012 self.

This was the original tweet the singer posted six years ago:

#VMA2012 I wanna be there SOOOOOOO bad you dont understand #someday

— camila (@Camila_Cabello) September 7, 2012

And here’s her very excitable, post-VMAs response:

YOURE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS SMOL CAMILA BUT: IN 2018 MADONNA IS GOING TO GIVE YOU AN AWARD FOR VIDEO OF THE YEAR AND YOUR ACNE WILL CLEAR https://t.co/H8IbhaA2EO

Madonna’s self-indulgent tribute to Aretha Franklin gets criticised by fans

TwitterFacebook

The death of Aretha Franklin still continues to inspire tributes from across the world, and the MTV VMAs are no different.

“Aretha Louise Franklin changed the course of my life. I left Detroit when I was 18, $35 in my pocket,” she said.  Read more…

Colossal gold unicorns, gold metallic corsetry, a gold winged throne — Nicki Minaj’s performance at MTV’s 2018 Video Music Awards was fit for the opulent, epic queen she is.

Donned in a jaw-dropper of a costume, Minaj performed multiple tracks from her brand new album, Queen, including “Barbie Dreams,” “Majesty,” “Ganja Burn,” and “FEFE.”

Minaj also took out the award for Best Hip Hop Video for “Chun-Li,” back at home base. We are not worthy. Read more…
