Sad about missing Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run II” tour? Well, now you don’t have to be.

Not exactly, anyway. The wife-and-husband power duo surprise released a new album — exclusively for Tidal, of course — on Saturday afternoon. The long-rumored joint album bears the title “Everything Is Love.”

To whet the appetites of all those non-Tidal subscribers out there, Bey shared a video snippet from one of the album’s nine tracks on Instagram. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have kicked off their “OTR II” tour, taking their huge joint show to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales — and it was large.

Opening the show with Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s duet “Holy Grail” and ending things with “Young Forever” from The Blueprint 3, the super-hyped debut show marks the start of one of the most anticipated tours in recent history — and one the most expensive.

The tour, which ends in Canada in October, is an extension of their original “On The Run” stadium tour, which they performed back in 2014, and with both artists releasing a flurry of material since then — cough, Lemonade — it was one heck of a setlist (see below). Read more…
