And now, your wholesome video of the week: Rep. John Lewis getting down to Pharrell’s “Happy.”

CBS News chief congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes captured the clip at a campaign event last Thursday for Stacey Abrams, Georgia’s Democratic candidate for governor. As you might expect, it is truly delightful.

Even Pharrell himself approves.

Small children cover ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ in truly epic British ad

Adverts are largely terrible and annoying. Anyone who’s seen the work of John Lewis, though — particularly their Christmas ads — will know that they’re often the exception that proves the rule.

Well anyway, they’ve done it again. In the two-and-a-half minute advert above, bored parents at a school talent show are suddenly wowed by a ridiculously impressive cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Give all those children an A+. And spare a thought for the human John Lewis, who’s most likely being inundated with tweets yet again. Read more…

It’s that time of the year again, which the festive season in Britain starts with department store John Lewis dropping their Christmas ad

This time, it’s the turn of a child who befriends a monster living under his bed, named Moz the Monster.

The ad, made by Michel Gondry, director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, has naturally received mixed opinions from Brits on Twitter.

Some people had strong views on the monster:
