Little girl lives her best life under a pile of puppies

TwitterFacebook

One young girl bravely defended herself against the gentle forces of cute from seven furry puppies and their tiny wet kisses. But sadly, in the end, she lost the adorable battle.

Proud mom Emily Rook shared an adorable photo of her 8-year-old daughter Sofia, cuddling with a band of precious pups at their local animal shelter.

Rook, an animal care technician, told Mashable that the picture was taken at the Humane Society of Washington County in Maryland.

“The shelter was founded in 1921 and continues to care for a wide variety of domestic animals to this day,” CEO Kim Intino told Mashable. “Ms. Rook, upon supervisor permission, brought Sofia to help out during a bring your daughter to work day.”  Read more…

Milo Yiannopoulos landed an unpaid writing gig, then lost it and got his editor got fired

TwitterFacebook

Bite at the universe, and occasionally, the universe will, in fact, bite back.

So goes the most recent development in the saga of noted troll and ex-Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos’s rough week. On Thursday he lost his biggest benefactor, conservative billionaire Robert Mercer. And now, not only is he out of a job, but — get this — his presence with his latest employer was so toxic that the guy who hired him is now apparently out on his ass as well.

A brief recap: Back in February, a video from a 2016 podcast surfaced in which Milo defended the idea of relationships between grown men and young boys. “You’re misunderstanding what pedophilia means,” he said on the podcast. “Pedophilia is not a sexual attraction to somebody 13 years old who is sexually mature. Pedophilia is attraction to children who have not reached puberty.” Read more…

An animal shelter sorted dogs into Hogwarts houses and, of course, there were lots of Hufflepuffs

TwitterFacebook

Humans aren’t the only ones that can turn into wizards.

The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando animal shelter is sorting dogs based on their personalities into Hogwarts Houses from the Harry Potter series in order to increase adoptions.

Everyone, including dogs, deserve a magical destiny.

Watch this hilarious student turn a Lil Uzi Vert song into Bio 101 study material

TwitterFacebook

You just gotta do what you gotta do for extra credit—and if that means you go viral, then so be it.

Morehouse College sophomore Julien Turner learned this when he dropped a hilarious music video on Twitter after his Bio 101 professor told the class to create one for the chance to curve their grades.

“Professor: Make a music video over any subject we’ve covered and I’ll curve your overall grade,” he tweeted along with the video.

“I just kept hearing the ‘all my cells are dead’ verse in my head,” he explained, in regards to picking Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3” to cover.  Read more…

Bees invade a motorbike and it’s truly unbeelievable. (Sorry.)

TwitterFacebook

These bees just found a sweet ride and it’s driving straight into our nightmares.

Castlereagh Street in Sydney, Australia was swarmed with bees after the queen bee decided to create her own beehive on a red motorbike. A cloud of bees invaded the streets and looked like a scene out of the 1978 horror flick The Swarm

Soooo when’s the next ticket out of Sydney?

Watching bath bombs get chopped up is surprisingly satisfying

TwitterFacebook

Bath bombs: they’re not just for baths anymore.

Thanks to “professional Lush enthusiast” @therosequeenn, the famed beauty products have taken on a purpose beyond making your bathwater smell like lavender. @Therosequeenn, whose real name is Andrea, films herself chopping up bath bombs for her Instagram.

Don’t worry; it’s not as traumatizing as it sounds. In fact, the videos are incredibly satisfying — in a candle-carving, makeup-destroying, DIY-sliming kind of way.

In each video, Andrea uses a knife to cut a bath bomb into relatively even slices. Then, she makes another set of lengthwise cuts and voilà! The bath bomb is a set of cuboid chunks. Read more…

KFC Japan made fried chicken bath bombs, even though no one asked for it

TwitterFacebook

Ever imagined yourself in a deep frier? Well, fear not. There’s a new product made just for you to smell like fresh canola oil and chicken grease.

KFC partnered with Japanese retailer Village Vanguard to create fried chicken-scented bath bombs. It shouldn’t be surprising considering the global fast food chain created the Chizza and rice bowls in the past.

The bath bombs are shaped like drumsticks, but don’t look close enough to be delicious in any capacity.
