Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time is one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2018, and with good reason.

Meg Murry isn’t cool. And she isn’t uncool in a secretly-cool way, like how teen girl protagonists from Belle to Katniss to Lady Bird are just too clever, too rebellious, too idiosyncratic, too real for their oppressively humdrum towns.
She is smart, and she can be brave and kind, but mostly she’s just an ordinary sort of adolescent misfit – the kind that wishes more than almost anything that she could be someone else. Someone prettier, maybe, or sweeter or more popular or less angry. Less too much.

A Wrinkle in Time released a new poster, but not everybody’s happy about it.
The poster depicts a stunning pastel collage of scenes over Storm Reid’s hair, with Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, and Chris Pine peeking out between glowing lines.
Apparently, it’s too feminine to ever be appealing to boys.
“This is a GREAT poster,” YouTuber Grace Randolph tweeted, “But don’t they want little boys to see this too… ?”

Hey, look! A new peek at A Wrinkle in Time, Disney’s Ava DuVernay-directed adaptation of the literary classic by Madeleine L’Engle!
This Golden Globes TV spot isn’t very long, but it’s yet another look at one of the year’s most highly anticipated movies. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling and — as you can see here — a gorgeous fantasy setting, there’s a lot to like here.
