Ariana Grande is cool with all her exes in new song ‘thank u, next’

TwitterFacebook

PSA: Ariana Grande is not feeling salty about her breakup with Pete Davidson. In fact, she’s feeling grateful.

Ariana released a new song, “thank u, next,” on Saturday night, 35 minutes before Saturday Night Live aired. Despite this seemingly shady timing (Davidson is on the show), the track — which mentions her exes Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, the late Mac Miller, and Davidson by name — is generous and kind.

“Even almost got married / And for Pete I’m so thankful,” she sings. “Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel.” (Malcolm is Mac Miller’s legal first name.) Read more…

Pete Davidson asks ‘SNL’ viewers to cool it with the Ariana Grande break-up stuff

TwitterFacebook

The newly single Pete Davidson paid a visit to Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update during the latest episode, and he had some thoughts to share on politicians.

After meandering through a series of one-liners weirdly dunking on the physical appearances of various political candidates — as well as himself — Davidson put his serious face on. It was time to address The Break-Up, his recently ended engagement to pop star Ariana Grande.

“I know some of you are curious about the break-up, but the truth it’s nobody’s business, and sometimes things just don’t work out, and that’s OK,” he said.

“She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world. Now please, go vote on Tuesday.” Read more…

Ariana Grande and James Corden survive a terrifying escape room

TwitterFacebook

Ariana Grande is super into Halloween, haunted houses, and escape rooms, so James Corden invited the pop star to a combination of the three.

As an addition to The Late Late Show‘s “Carpool Karaoke” segment with Grande, Corden decided to book a session at 60OUT Escape Rooms in Los Angeles, picking the horror themed room.

It looks downright terrifying, and Grande spends the entire time being understandably beside herself.

“That’s not an escape room, that’s one of the seven gates to hell,” she said.

At least know we know how she injured her hand — running away from whatever the hell that is in the clip. Read more…

Please enjoy Ariana Grande belting a song from ‘Wicked’ with perfect green makeup

It’s no secret Ariana Grande is wickedly talented, just like Idina Menzel.

The pop star swung by NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween Monday night, celebrating 15 years of Wicked on Broadway (which doubled as drumming up some excitement for the long-in-the-works movie adaptation).

Grande — donning a green bustier and some seriously shimmery green makeup — performed “The Wizard and I,” following a sweet intro from original co-stars Kristin Chenoweth and Menzel.

One vision almost like a prophecy? Though this tune is sung by the character Elphaba, expect Grande, with her huge fan base and professed love of the musical, to be on the shortlist for Glinda once casting for the film finally rolls around.  Read more…
