Netflix has officially renewed Black Mirror to lend us perspective while the world burns. The announcement arrived Monday with a quick video clip posted to the Black Mirror Twitter account.
Black Mirror Season 4 released Dec. 30 on Netflix, where the show released its past two seasons after leaving its original home of ITV in the U.K. It’s too early for episode titles or release dates, but just knowing it’s coming is enough to make us nervous.
Black Mirror Seasons 1-4 are now streaming on Netflix.

On Monday, YouGov released the results of a survey in which they asked British people which Black Mirror technologies they’d be willing to adopt. In total, 1,714 people took the survey, and each person had to rate how likely — from “Very Unlikely” to “Very Likely” — they would be to use each piece of tech featured in the show. Read more…

Well, every Black Mirror viewer knew it’d only be a matter of time before we started ranking social class using people’s Uber ratings, or wasting our lives in a VR game, or uploading our digital selves to the toilet — or whatever.
But actually, one Black Mirror prediction just became vividly real at CES. And it’s more horrifying than all of those combined.
Pizza Hut took to Twitter to unveil the state-of-the-art tech that will revolutionize the way the company inserts its cheese-covered cardboard circles into your mouth hole.
