Watchmaker Romain-Jerome has announced a new Batman-themed watch that looks like something Bruce Wayne would wear to the club. The watch, which is based on R-J’s Skylab design, features a meticulous reproduction of a map of Gotham City cut into the rear sapphire glass and a glowing Bat Signal that lights up in the dark and/or in times of danger. Netflix may be known for urging us to stare at a screen for hours on end, but the streaming giant wants you to gaze at paper, too – with its first-ever comic book.
The original book, called The Magic Order, will be created by comics legend Mark Millar, who’s responsible for popular titles like Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service.

On a dark night — err, knight? — a baby entered the world into the hands of the Joker.
Dr. Paul Locus, an OB at the Henry County Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, didn’t let work impede his Halloween fun. Locus had dressed like the Heath Ledger version of The Joker, and opted to stay in character to deliver Justin and Brittany Selph’s baby daughter, Oaklyn.
We’ll just assume he said “why so serious” once the baby started crying because if you’re going full-on Halloween you have to go full-on.
Sure, little Oaklyn could grow up with a petrifying anxiety about scalpel-wielding, green-haired comic book villains, but who doesn’t suffer that fear really? Read more…
