A good dog accidentally shot his owner in the chest

While driving to the New Mexico desert for a jackrabbit hunting trip with his trio of dogs, Tex Harold Gilligan was shot by none other than his dog Charlie.
Woof.
Charlie, the 120-pound Rottweiler-mix was sitting in the front seat of the car when he got his foot caught in the trigger of Gilligan’s gun, accidentally shooting a round into his owner, according to ABC News.
“It went through my ribs my lung and busted up my collarbone on the right side,” Gilligan told ABC News. “I had a gaping hole, you know, and a lot of blood there too.” Read more…

When it comes languages, Japanese stands out as one of the more difficult to learn.
It’s not such a problem for Beni the Shiba Inu, who can apparently say the words taberu — that’s “to eat” in Japanese, then hanbagu, which translates to “hamburger steaks.”
Beni is the star pet of Twitter user @a_t_k123, who SoraNews24 notes has been part of their household for just a little over a year now.
Anyway, he can probably speak better Japanese than the rest of us rookies, as seen in this video demonstrating his incredible language skills. Read more…

Both dogs and optical illusions have the power to go viral on their own — but when you combine the two together, sweet canine magic happens.
On Wednesday, Reddit user u/Embeast shared a photo of their Great Dane in the r/mildlyinteresting sub.
“My dog’s ear looks like his own face,” was the simple caption.

Mr. Bubz the dog has seemingly come out of nowhere, blessing the internet with his snarls and nervous energy.
After a 14-second video of the pup snarling while a man offered some affection was uploaded to YouTube on Monday it quickly ramped up well over 10,000 views.
And while Mr. Bubz currently only has a handful of post on his Instagram — the first of which was also posted on Monday — he already has over 10,000 followers.

It’s been 15 years since Britney Spears’ song “Toxic” hit airwaves but it continues to be one of the great earworms, with the people of the planet still humming the song’s hooks to themselves often. You’re probably humming it to yourself now just reading this. You’re welcome.
Also, you’re not alone. Dogs love it, too. Or, at least, one particular dog named Riley who sure as heck sounds like he’s singing one of the song’s memorable hooks.

And this dog really went for it. Redditor Spinolio posted a photo of a genius dog that decided he needed a splash, but instead of going outside to use a sprinkler, he dragged it inside — through the doggy door!
That is a very good trick.
